He is also the Non-Executive Director for ZASpace, the South African private sector industry body for the space value chain in the country. He has a long history across many types of organisations, including global consulting, government, and start-ups, having delivered projects in over 30 countries around the world. Further to these roles at RIIS and ZASpace, Davis is also a Non-Executive Director at Anza Capital (an early stage African-focused VC fund), and the SA Innovation Summit. He holds undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in physics and applied math, politics and economics, business and social studies.
